FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

41ST GRADUATION CONCERT

JUNE 4TH SPIVEY HALL AT CLAYTON STATE UNIVERSITY 2:00 P.M.

26 Top level Suzuki students from around the Atlanta Area will be performing in the Atlanta Area Suzuki Piano (AASPA) Graduation concert hosted at the prestigious beautiful Spivey Hall.

Local Radio personality John Lemley (AM1690 WMLB) has again graciously agreed to host. "The concerts are a great delight, and I am happy to have the opportunity to be a part of the program," says Mr. Lemley.

AASPA President Brooke Chumachenko says of the concert "This concert will be particularly special since we have a level 10 graduate performing a concerto. We are also very happy to be giving 17 year old Tejas Manem of Milton, Georgia a scholarship in recognition of his outstanding abilities."

Tickets for the program are $15 for adults and $7.50 for students. The Graduation concert not only recognizes the hard work of the students and teachers who participate, but also help to continue to fund the many programs that AASPA offers to the Atlanta music community including Workshops, and scholarships for worthy students and teachers.

The Atlanta Area Suzuki Piano Association (AASPA) was established to promote the principles of talent education set forth by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, and implemented by Dr. Haruko Kataoka through Suzuki Piano Basics. Through these principles, AASPA seeks to promote peace in the world by developing sensitivity and sensibility in children; and broaden global understanding and friendship through the universal language of music. The organization provides the highest quality music educational opportunities for children including the Graduation Program, workshops, chamber music collaborations and special recitals, as well as teacher education and community and parent education and fellowship.
