A gift to AASPA shows your support for musical education and our non-profit organization. There are a few ways to direct your giving.

Graduation Fund

Formal concerts are held annually to celebrate the achievements of our dedicated Suzuki students throughout the Atlanta area to encourage them to continue to raise their sights and standards in a non-competitive environment. Our Piano Graduation Concerts have been held at Spivey Hall whereby students receive a prestigious trophy and diploma marking their accomplishment. Level Ten performances of piano concertos provide a collaboration with local youth orchestras, including Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra, Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra, Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra and others.

Consider helping AASPA to defray the costs of these concerts and the receptions that follow afterwards by offering a monetary donation that is tax-deductible.

General Scholarship Fund

Become a Friend of AASPA when you make a donation to support this fund. These funds provide need-based scholarships to AASPA and other Piano Basics events, such as workshops; stipends to students and teachers for travel to Japan and Sacramento to participate in Ten-Piano Concerts; and scholarships to honor our Level Ten graduates. All gifts are tax-deductible and support our mission to provide Suzuki Piano Basics to as many students and teachers as possible.

Pamela Newton Smith Memorial Fund

Pamela Newton Smith was a respected piano teacher and founding member of the Atlanta Area Suzuki Piano Association. She enjoyed attending the Louisville Suzuki Piano Institute for many years and watching her students (including her own grandchildren) flourish there. Upon the request of her family, this memorial fund has been established to honor Mrs. Smith and the lasting and valuable role she had with both AASPA and her many students over the years. All gifts will be used to provide scholarships to AASPA Suzuki students and teachers to attend the Louisville Suzuki Piano Institute in her memory and are tax-deductible.
