Lauretta Russell

I have been teaching the Suzuki Method of piano for over 20 years and have a degree in Music and English from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. I teach from my home studio located in Roswell, Georgia off Hardscrabble Road.

I am member and past president of the Atlanta Suzuki Piano Association (AASPA). I have studied with Dr. Kataoka, founder of the Suzuki Piano Method. and regularly attend masterclass workshops to further my musical education in the Suzuki Method. When not teaching and playing the piano, I like to cook, read, and tend my lovely garden. I am married to the talented and Steven Speilberg lookalike, Chuck Russell and have two fabulous children; a daughter, Lacey, age 21, and a son, Jamey, age 19. Both play the piano and studied in the Suzuki Method.

Of all the different things I have done in my life, the accomplishments of my piano students are my biggest success.
